About the riding
Ae is one of the 7stanes centres and offers a broad spread of purpose-built riding. Green and blue trails suit newer riders, while the red Ae Line delivers longer climbs, rougher singletrack, roots, rocks and technical descents. An extreme downhill section and skills area cater for confident gravity riders. Conditions and diversions can change with forestry operations, so check the official alerts before travelling. The Naze trailhead has charged parking and picnic space, and self-contained campervans can use the separate Stay the Night scheme where available.
