About the riding
Beecraigs Country Park has a compact, officially mapped mountain-bike network ranging from green and blue routes to two red loops and a severe black section, plus a separate skills area. It works well for families, newer riders and short progression sessions, while the red singletrack gives mountain bikers priority over walkers and horses. The wider park has a visitor centre, parking, toilets, café and a caravan, camping and glamping site, making it an easy weekend base. Admission is free and the park is open year-round, but riders should check current notices before travelling.
