About the riding
Coed Moel Famau has a single blue-grade mountain-bike loop through the Clwydian Range woodland. The 12.3 km Ffrith Mountain Circular climbs steadily on mixed forest tracks and bridleway before reaching open views across North Wales and Merseyside, then returns on a faster descent. It is moderate cross-country riding rather than a jump or gravity venue, and riders share parts of the route with other users. Charged parking and toilets are available at the forest car park.
