About the riding
Kirroughtree offers one of the fullest 7stanes progressions. A green family route leads into blue singletrack, the red Twister adds sustained climbing, rock steps and drop-offs, and the black Black Craigs extension brings severe granite slabs and boulder features including McMoab. The harder routes are long and physically demanding, so allow time and carry spares. A compact skills area lets riders test technique before committing. Parking, toilets and a visitor café at the gateway make Kirroughtree a practical base for a full riding day.
