About the riding
Knockbain is a compact community-built mountain-bike venue near Dingwall, created and maintained by the Dingwall Mountain Bike Trail Group. Three established trails provide flowing, progressive riding used by local youth clubs and visiting riders. A fourth, more difficult black trail was funded for delivery in 2026, adding a step up from the existing red line. This is a local volunteer-led facility rather than a staffed trail centre, so expect limited amenities and check the group’s latest updates before making a special journey.
