About the riding
Descend Bike Park sits within the wider Hamsterley Forest riding area but deserves its own County Durham eMTB directory entry because it’s a very different proposition: gravity-focused downhill tracks with an uplift service that turns the day into repeatable runs. In eMTB bike park directory terms, this is not about long pedal-assist loops—it’s about getting quality descending attempts, building familiarity, and keeping the riding intensity high without spending your energy on pushing back up.
