Red Bull Rampage starts on Thursday 8 October, with the women’s competition in Virgin, Utah. UK viewers can watch from 5pm BST, with the men’s broadcast following at the same time on Saturday 10 October. Both are listed for free coverage on Red Bull TV and the Red Bull Bike YouTube channel.
The event returns to the original Kolob Terrace Road venue for its 25th anniversary. That gives this edition a link to the first Rampage in 2001, but the riding will be very different from those early days: today’s competitors combine exposed lines, huge drops and tricks on terrain they help shape themselves.
Red Bull Rampage 2026: UK viewing times
Women: Thursday 8 October, 5pm BST.
Men: Saturday 10 October, 5pm BST.
Red Bull lists both broadcasts at 4pm UTC, which is 5pm in the UK while British Summer Time remains in effect. Use the official event page to reach the coverage and check for changes before settling in.
The British riders to watch
Mikayla Parton is the sole rookie in the women’s field on Red Bull’s published rider list. The former World Cup downhill racer joins established names including Robin Goomes, Hannah Bergemann and Georgia Astle. In the men’s competition, the listed British riders include Kade Edwards and Tom Isted.
Why line choice matters as much as the tricks
Rampage is judged freeride rather than a timed downhill race. Riders work with two-person build crews to connect a start and finish across the mountainside. They have two competition runs, with their best single score deciding their placing. The line itself is part of the performance, rather than a shared track everyone has to follow.
For anyone more familiar with trail riding, that is the useful thing to watch between the headline tricks: where a rider commits to a take-off, how they manage speed and how one feature sets up the next. The scale is far beyond an ordinary MTB or eMTB ride, but the connection between vision, speed and line choice will be familiar.
A different kind of mountain-bike spectacle
There is no need to follow a whole racing season to enjoy Rampage. Start with the women’s broadcast on Thursday and watch how different riders interpret the same hillside. The organiser’s rider and broadcast guide has the full field, while its event explainer covers the format in more detail.
